Demoscene at belGRADE Conference

We are looking forward to a very special weekend and collaboration opportunity in Mid-March. Echtzeit has been part of the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) action called GRADE – Grassroot Movements of Digital Europe.

One of the working groups is exploring women and gender minorities in creative computing, recording their names and stories before they are being lost to history, as happened to many pioneers especially from disenfranchised communities.

Hence, Shana Marinitsch will join the conference in Belgrade from March 13-14 as a speaker, to share learnings from the exhibition PROW:ESSE – Gender Diversity in Digital Arts, and gives a look behind the curtains what kind of considerations grassroot organisers have taken, need to take or are have to look at in the foreseeable future.
