The Vintage Computer Festival Zurich is committed to the preservation and revival of historical computers and technologies and brings past eras of computer technology to life.
Visitors can take a fascinating journey back in time to the beginnings of the computer world and experience the development of this pioneering technology at first hand. The festival offers an eclectic mix of exhibitions, talks, workshops and interactive experiences. Visitors have the unique opportunity to try out old computer models for themselves and discover how they work and their significance for today’s technology.

The two Echtzeit members Gleb J. Albert and Andry Joos will each give a lecture:
- Demoscene – modern masterpieces on classical hardware by Andry Joos (Saturday) is going to be more of a demoshow than a lecture and will feature the lastest productions by the demoscene.
- Szene-BBSs: Mapping a vanished world by Gleb J. Albert (Sunday) presents the crows sourced project demozoo.org and its attempt to document the BBS world created and used by the cracker- and demoscenes.
There will also be plenty of other opportunities to see demos on the wide range of hardware on display.
